Raising Kachiko

I've come to the point where I have to raise Kachiko after I beat the two brothers in the fighting pit and killed or let Hitomi perform hari kiri. The problem that I encounter is that even if I cast a raise dead scroll on Kachiko, she still won't come to life. I have tried with all other party members but it was no good (Yoshimo, Sime, Aerie, Robilliard, the aquatic druid, and myself an elven assassin).
I even tried casting it on the coffin (I had a second scroll) but that had no effect either. She just stays blue and unconscious.
I only have vanilla BP installed, meaning, the things listed in the version G pdf to the letter and added to that I have installed the s_h v4 patch.
I have never been through Tortured Souls so I have no idea whether my problem is novelty or ancient news. At least I did a forum search and only found some minor info in the overall walkthrough.
Any ideas on what might have gone wrong?

if you can't bring yrself to do it again, then do the following checks:
CLUAConsole:GetGlobal("Sprite_is_deadHitomi","GLOBAL") - should be 1
CLUAConsole:GetGlobal("("BP_No_AreaScript_Vlad","TT0307") - should be 0.
if these values aren't 1 and 0 respectively, set them using CLUAConsole:SetGlobal("...","GLOBAL",x), where ... is the variable you want to change and x is the value you want to set it to.
then wait a little bit...
then do:
CLUAConsole:GetGlobal("Kachiko_Saved","GLOBAL") - should be 1. set it to 1 if it isn't.
then cast raise dead on Kachiko (it's gotta be raise dead, not resurrection) and she'll be back good as new.

I tried both options but neither of them worked. I will try to look at the globals and perform the fix you suggested when I get home. I'll update this reply when it worked.
My only complaint about all these mods is that my inventory is now severely stuffed with items. Even the bag of holding that I think I bought somewhere but I can't remember where, is now filled to the tip. I've got to start selling the stuff I'm unlikely to use further. It's just that I still want to switch a character over here and there so I haven't decided what to do about that yet. :s Oh well.... at least the mods are a lot of fun.

One caveat: I believe it only affects such items if they're from the unmodded game, so new bags of holding added by Big Picture will probably still have a limit.

Yes, these only work for the bags that are in the original game and the one I bought is modded in. Not that it would make a difference now because if I put the file in the override it would still not make it bottomless in the current game. The G3 Tweak Pack includes a component called "Bottomless Bags of Holding", which allows you to store a pretty much infinite number of items in bags of holding, scroll cases, ammo belts and gem bags.

I used the bottomless override in one of my games but as Billy mentioned, it causes quite some lag here and there so I never used it since.
PS: yey! it works again. The area script wasn't working apparently.

The BP bag of holding, that you can get from Joluv at the Copper coronet, holds 256 items (instead of the default 100). I found a buffering (array-based) limit, that was causing crashes on the Spellhold item removal issue. The Unlimited mod from Ease adds to a bag that you get after my mod yanks your gear, so it isn't an issue here.

I didn't have that much in my bag when I started for chapter 3, but by now it's filled to the top again. Oi... good thing there's a second bag to be gotten soon.
