Tally ho, fellow inmates. A review from PC Format:

It's just a basic outline, but it does sound promising :)

It does sound promising. Only a few days now - less then one as I write for North America. And my pre-order with Play.Com has a status of "Packing".

Plus to add to the enjoyment, apparently it's been delayed for a week :crying: but only in Australia  and New Zealand. .

Edit:

The manual is supposed to be available for donwload in PDF from from here, if anyone wants to look at it early - though I had problems getting the English version.

Back from the brink.

Like RPGs? Like Star Wars? Think combining the two would be fun? Read Darths and Droids, and discover the line "Jar Jar, you're a genius".

These, in the day when heaven was falling,
The hour when earth's foundations fled,
Followed their mercenary calling
And took their wages and are dead.

But... but... I mean, I've yet to play Gothic 3! And then there are some other old games I want to play... :P

Seriously tho, it sounds like NWN 2 will be the game all D&D fans have been waiting for... myself as one of them. I can't wait! :D

Question?

I am in germany and would like to order from amazon.de because its faster delivery. Does the game have a language you can select because I would like english and not german or is it only in german because I buy it in germany?

to make it clearer, when I install will I be asked what language or am I stuck with german?

Anyone know?

I don't know for sure, Ronin, though my guess is that you will be able to choose.

Have you checked the website?

Here, guys, is a little tour of the toolset: http://www.gamebansh.../nwn2diary1.php

Yay!

Or... Friday it'll be "Yay!" anyways...

Give us your thoughts on the game when you try it :)

To answer Ronin's question: There are localized versions in some countries e.g. Germany, meaning that you did right by ordering your copy from the UK.

Edit: Oh, and can't wait 'till Friday!

Unfortunately I don't yet meet the requirements. Computer issues are xp.

But I can make comments any other components.

With some luck, I'll get mine next Friday, if I'm unlucky it'll miss the delivery and I'll have to wait until Monday. :(

I'm strongly considering doing a very in-depth one. Trouble is, it usually times me a mountain to run through a game for the first time, because I have to explore everything, so it may take some time.

I'll definetely send you a PM when I've decided, though :)

I've got the game(LE) and looked through the extras. The artbook looks very, nice the rings I got aren't too bad either Unfortunately my computer won't run it, and upgrading will take quite a while.

Just got the game! Won't buy Collector's edition again, what a useless bunch o' stuff. The only thing mildly useful is the DVD with the music score, the haven't even indcluded some sort of 'Behind the Scenes'.

But, now I'll going for the game itself...

EDIT: An update containing 82.7mb worth of patch is already out

I thought the artbook was pretty nice here. Then again it's a taste of what's to come and all that.

The extra items sound like they'll be pretty cool. I didn't much like the map, the cloth was odd and it didn't show your town.

Other than that...
