Has anyone managed to create an effect that shortens casting times in BG1? I fought with "Increase casting speed factor (189)" effect, but with no avail. Perhaps I am making an obvious mistake, as usual ;-), but feel free to share your experiences and send me a working item :-).

Unfortunately that is not possible in BG. Your only option is to remove the 1 spell per round limit.
