Over at watcher's keep... i do everything the guy ssays...
but for the life of me cannot disrupt spell without killing woman...
tried a single arrow.... and tried miscast magic...
any ideas here?
Is it better to disrupt it or not to.... can't find a blessed thing in walkthroughs.

I couldn't either. The walkthrough that comes with Tactics (since this is where it comes from) mean it seem like the mod doesn't matter if you stop her or kill her, Pontifex is going to attack you anyway.
Tired of Bhaal? Try some classics mods instead:

Pontifex doesn't attack you if you don't kill the priestess. I managed to not to kill her in my last game. IIRC I used paralyze spells so that the right moment for the ritual sort of run out. Returned to Pontifex and got the cool armor (the same you get when you kill him) and some XP.
