Irenicus looks VERY cool with his Elven features restored. Hats off to whomever did that pic, can I get a copy of it, perhaps? I'm still a little peeved that he took MY body and MY soul and MY Bhaal essence, and became, like, ultra-God, but i'm doing an evil game now, and he can bloody well have Sendai's soul. He's not getting mine. Oh no, no way, not again, that power's MINE!

As a side note, Sendai and Abazigal's souls have perks to them like Ioun Stones, are there any differences between the two?

I guess redeeming Irenicus is a lot harder than I thought...

More spoilers regarding Jonny's Redemption.....

When in initial negotiations with Jonny Boy, right after Reilev reincarnates him but before he joins you, make sure to mention Ellesime and how she chased Charname to the grove and how she buried Jon with her own hands etc etc etc. When he asks if she looked beneath teh mask, tell the truth.

Why do all this? Because then when he demands a Bhaalsoul you can refuse him, and he will allow you to "try" to redeem him. That way, even if you fail, you're not bound to give him your soul. Also, that has it's own seperate ending, as well (not redeemed but no soul promised, taht is).

I did tell him all that, and refused him Sendai or Abazigals souls, but in the end, Solar said that he could take mine. Cheeky blighter - wait until my Skald finds him... he'll pay...

Did you refuse to promise him a Bhaalsoul with teh above dialogues? They gave you the option of saying "No Bhaalsoul". If you said you'd let him have one but try to convince him otherwise, then you still promised him one. If you say you won't give him one after the dialogues about Ellesime, then he can't take one from you. That dialogue tree exists. In that case an unredeemed Jon goes back to Hell.

On the other hand, if thats what you chose and *refused* to allow him a Bhaalsoul, then your game is bugged. But I'm not Dorotea so I can't tell you where it's bugged.

Your only mistake was to refuse him a soul -- the trick to redeeming him is to let him decide for himself - as in tell him he can have one if he wants but that you persoinally think he will be better off without ripping a soul out yet another creature. If you are good he will not take the soul -- by making his own decision not because you ordered him not to -- and this is the only way to get him to repent. You will immediately see a small cutscene after which Jon will turn TN. At the end he will agree to geta human soul and will accept it from the avatar of Corellon Larethian. I rather like this ending -- it has a nice cutscene. The one Arcalian suggested is fun to -- Jon-boy has yet another fate in that one :online2long:

There are 4 possible endings altogether.

Freedom cannot be equated with goodness, virtue, or perfection. Freedom has its own unique self-contained nature; freedom is freedom ? not universal goodness. Any confusion or deliberate equalization of freedom with goodness and excellence is in itself negation of freedom, and acceptance of the path of restraint and enforcement.

Btw -- Sendai and Abzi (as well as Balthazar) souls have different soul-stones with different perks.

You can grab Jon-boy's elven portrait by XVIII from this site:

It would be rather interesting if there were a scene where the four versions of Joneleth, each with a unique destiny, ended up meeting one another, each given a chance to see how different it might have been for each of them, along with the varied reactions from all four.
