To bring up a child

If you continued it to TOB, you can make the pocket plane as your stronghold. Bringing this child up from 10 to 18 then the child must choose her fate!

Y'know, the events of the Baldur's Gate II cycle take place within a year, right?
I mean, I guess you COULD spend 10 years in SoA or ToB, but that's a Hella lot of resting and random area transition - it'd take ages IRL.
Plus, adventurers having kids is not a good thing - look at Keldorn. His adventuring has caused his children to almost forget him, and his wife to find the embrace of another man.

I've always found te keep-stronghold a bit boring. It would be great if you could send some people who were in need or without a home too you're keep. (like the slave kids in the slums)
Maybe even adding en new area where a little village is build (or have an area where you can actually see the village being under water). And witch, you as PC need to defend it from time to time.

Part of it is actually a great idea!

Hmm...if you bring it that way, I can understand it. Raising a child while being an adventurer isn't a good idea, though. Like they said...Keldorn. Or Cernd... :glare:
