I met Dekaras the first time (Day 40, Hour 14) and he tells me to return the next day, yaddah yaddah.

Braving the annoying Amnish soldiers I slept at THAT VERY SPOT......making sure I *would* be there for the next meeting.

It is now Day 41, Hour 14. He is not there.

I've reloaded from my last save about 6 times now, and it keeps happening. Dekaras *never* shows up for the next meeting.

What do I do now?

I really wanna get going to Brynnlaw... I have NEVER spent this much time in Athkatla for any reason... I've been done with all the Athkatla quests since Day 26, and all tis time I have just been sleeping, walking around, going to Trademeet and Umar Hills trying to get the Edwin Romance timers to... um.. MOVE!!!!

It's getting so frustrating *cry*

Sheesh... I had to hunt for this thread, but thank you for providing an answer, regardless (albeit indirectly)

But just an FYI.... the journal *still* doesn't mention anything about the Bridge district.

Make sure u are NOT in Athkatala areas. Go to umar or trademeet. Or u could try the clua command SetGlobal("EdwinRomace", "GLOBAL", 1) also have u read the deagard faq pinned above. hope that helps. All the best!

Yes, the next version isn't indeed out yet. It's waiting to be uploaded and has been so for some time.

I'm sorry about my initial post... I realize it sounds rather obnoxious -- I was pretty disguted with my game at the time of posting.

I *did* find the answer buried somewhere else in the forum (linked), and I do appreciate you guys posting replies as well.

Just goes to show how far a little research will get you.... if I could just remember to do it more often
