Wow, so I installed it CORRECTLY? Given my track record, that's impressive.
Though I think that "Seeing Eyed Familiar" thing I suggested has merrit. Hmm, playing the game "Blind" might make for a challenge as well... RANDOM blindness, whilst in the middle of fighting a drago say... might make things a tad more - challenging.
Now that I get it, I like it. Humor here and there can be welcome in BG.
Coming soon: Bhallspawn World, the best Amusement Park in Amn. The Dwarf toss is fun and the Haunted Keep will terrify (Though personally I am waiting to get enough E-Tickets for the Aerie-on-a-waterbed ride...for those who don't get that one, think Disney about 20 or so yrs ago) and the Mae-Var munchies are the best!
Seriously though, ya got me on this one and it was worth it for the giggle!
I have been away from the net and gaming for awhile due to Real Life emergancies, but now I am back and I remain your most enthusiastic supporter.
Minotaur (Away from maze at the moment) - Impressed!

Joke mods become substantially less funny by the time you come across the nth person who's insalled GbG and wonders why their game's fucked.Hmph, fortunately I haven't installed this yet.

"a compelling, expanded storyline, exploring the quandries of the choice between godhood and mortality"
Again, AFAIK GbG does this.
You seem to be mis-reading the text and reading more into it than is there.
I don't believe that GbG damages the game. And I do not believe this is anything at all like a trojan.
I do belive that most mods do not make clear what they do in their readme files.
Still, if you have constructive feedback (other than "it's wrong") they feel free to post it - a new GbG version is in the works, and *you* could make it better.

How?Again, AFAIK GbG does this.
No, I read the text that's there and observe that it's intentionally misleading people into thinking that a joke mod is going to add real content. This may have been funny at first. Six mods on, and countless people complaining of wrecked games later, it's getting old.You seem to be mis-reading the text and reading more into it than is there.
Deleting basically all the content (non-optionally once the mod has been installed) is detrimental to the game experience. This is not a question.I don't believe that GbG damages the game.
If I released something that claimed to "make Windows more fun", which promptly formatted the user's harddisk (or for a better analogy, removed access to the majority of applications), it'd effectively be a virus. And I do not believe this is anything at all like a trojan.
Name them, and name specifically the negative effects of their readme omissions. Again, consider that Dungeon-be-Gone makes no reservations about informing users that it will allow them OPTIONALLY to skip a part of the game. Clearly informing users and optionality are neither things to which Game-be-Gone can lay claim.I do belive that most mods do not make clear what they do in their readme files.
Describe more clearly its effects on the game. When I installed it and started a new game, I was taken straight to the Demogorgon battle, then teleported directly to the fight with Melissan. This should be noted in the readme.Still, if you have constructive feedback (other than "it's wrong") they feel free to post it - a new GbG version is in the works, and *you* could make it better.
