I, personally think that this is a good idea for Ariena. Something like that would proove that she's born to fight 'till the bloody end. :thumb:

Just out of curiousity... Deathsangel, have do you decided ca. Ariena's bonuses (and if she will have the bloodrush-like ability or not) by now? Or could you just give Ariena's fans a *very* small hint of her "possible" chelestial heritage, please?? :^^:

The problem is here that I have only one AD&D cd and a lot of 3.5 books. The problem is from the row that NiGHTMARE gave: "Aasimon, Archon, Asuras, Eladarin or Guardinal", I can not find Aasimons. I know Aasimars, but I do not know if it was just a typo. I want to search for those before I make a real discission.

For the rest I would say I am not sure what the bonuses are. Haer'Dalis has extremely high. With 15 damage resistance and cold (50), fire and electricity (both 25).

I will give her a bloodrush/rage-like ability. Don't know which one exact.

Aasimons exist really in AD&D (mostly in Planescape, I think), so its not just a typo. The AD&D source book Warriors of Heaven said those would be to find in other books(?!boxes?!) of Planescape: Aasimons are detailed in the Planescape Monstrous Compedium "Appendix" to find.

And here some text of what Aasimons actually are (or so tells Warriors of Heaven): "The Upper PLanes are filled with formidable aasimon, some of whom serve as proxies to deities and possess abilities compareable to those of demipowers."

Grr... AD&D books are SO difficult to understand early in the morning for me... :online2long:

PS2: Since Ariena has an Fur Armour with damage resistance of 10 for some types of weapons, hows about to make something like that insteand?

Acid 50 (from 'unkown' celestial heritage, so to speak)
Damage Resistance 5 (lower because the armour already has damage resistance)
Immunity to Poison (problaby because of training in the pit fights, naturally, or 'cause of legendary celestial orc toughness )
Cold 25 (again cause of hardiness, natural, or something else)
Special: Bloodrush Ability

As you can see, I would chose bonuses that would fit with her orc bloood a bit, or that are useful in a fight with assassins, bounty hunter, or slave masters.

Just an though, because not everything in BG2 is like in AD&D rules (Haer'Dalis as an example).

My head is more clear and it seems Aasimons are not the ones I want. Therefor I have almost decided her celestial ancestor: Lupinal or Hound Archon (strain your eyes or select to make visible and read the spoiler). Her armor gives against all weapons 10 damage resistance, missles are piercing damage right? However, something natural doesn't go down as you have an armor to do the same. Also note that the armor isn't Ariena specific and can be worn by others. It is not to difficult to do so. It is meant that way, as the armor wasn't especially made for her ownly. I have indeed decided to let go of the standard AD&D, as does Haer'Dalis. I am thinking more on the lines of this (though extremelly close to your proposal):

Acid 50
Damage Resistance 10
Immunity to Poison (Perhaps lower, but if so does that means she sometimes get poisoned and sometimes not or is it just damage reduction like? Anyone?)
(Magic) Cold 20
+2 against charm and fear effects (If I am able to code this cause I do not know how)
Special: Bloodrush Ability (need to see if I can modify the name of rage, but I'll give it the same logo (in contrast to Minsc's looking like the Berserk logo)

And those are great bonuses you've choosen Deathsangel! :thumb:

About the poison resistance... I think its just gonna make Ariena less get poisoned, but still (if she get) takes the normal damage. Its the same with diseases, though I'm not too sure about it!

PS: Yes, missiles and ranged weapons make piercing damage!

+1 on saves vs. spells
Special: Bloodrush Ability (need to see if I can modify the name of rage, but I'll give it the same logo (in contrast to Minsc's looking like the Berserk logo)

Why? The +2 to fear and charm effects is uncodedable. For I can lower the chance for morale break for all things, but not charm effects. Thus that changed.

Still need to look in the Bloodrush Ability how to do that.
