It's a closed question intentionally as to avoid anyambiguity but I was wondering what people might think if, permission pending from the authors I were to create a download pack containing all our tutorials.

They'd all be in PDF format in one winRAR file.

Opinions, comments?

how come you always look so damn cool in every photo I see you in?!?

Speaking of modding, I listened to IER 3 yesterday, so you can have another quote for your signature: how come you sound so damn cool, as well as look it? It's unfair. Seriously.

Sounds great. Most die-hards tend to download them anyways. (I just finished grabbing Yovaneth's latest so it seems a constructive project methinks.)

I think it's a great idea. I wholeheartly support the idea and give my permission to "convert" my tutorials.

Indeed, but I think the point of the poster was that most tutorials are embedded in threads, and that it often involves opening a lot of different threads to get all the information you want (and you also end up with a lot of info you don't want unless you do a lot of laborious copying and pasting).

I do think it is a good idea to put all the tutorials in, for example, a pdf file and make them available for download. If this hasn't been done yet, then I officially volunteer to get it done.

Which means it willbe done and available by the end of next week, provided someone can host it for me, unless anyone posts here and tells me not to bother (e.g. if Seifer is already on the case - I don't want to tread on anyone's toes or hijack their ideas, and this was Seifer's idea to begin with).

I'm in it but I'm looking at editing and what not as well.

If you're open for helping me in a few days then I'm up for that.

Thanks for the quick response Seifer

Absolutely - just tell me what you want me to do and I'll be there :)

I have a penchant for formatting, proofreading and presentation if that is any help, but also willing to help out in any way you see fit.

Look forward to hearing back from you when you need me B)

There already is in some respects.

Without wishing to sound harsh, popping in and saying "there should be an easy to use tutorial stating the basics for die har5d fans who do not know anything about modding all should have the chance to mod "

really, really doesn't cut the cheese. We've got the tools, the personnel and the help forums. You have the chance already, all it needs is some patience and some hard graft.

If you feel that a tutorial is lacking in a specific area, then go ahead and chime in for it. We'll at least be able to point you in the right direction.

Always remember that you can check IESDP if you have questions. It has descriptions for just about everything you'll need. :)
