Yeah, it is corrupt, but not actually used by the mod. V2 won't include it.Maybe a false positve but I thought I would report it anyway. The Creature Offset Checker in the BiG World Fixpack reports:

I'm playing the ER v2 beta and have encountered a nasty bug/whatever. The game crashes when I get teleported to the lich battle. The area loads allright; the crash occurs about a second later. The game does not crash if I keep it paused.

This may be a conflict with Aurora. Some of the creatures spawing in the lich fight use so-called "LOW" animations andHello!

Aurora uses an EXE patch that, as a side effect, causes LOW animations to crash the game. Try installing the attached mod and see if it fixes your problem. I can't imagine the creatures have been stored in your saved game, what with the crash, but try to avoid loading any saves you may have from after you entered the lich-fight area.
I'll also change the animations within the mod so there will be no more problems like this.
If the crash persists, please open the file baldur.ini in your game directory and add the line Logging On=1 under [Program Options], crash the game and have a look at the file baldur.err in your game directory. At the very least, there should be a line about starting a logging session. With a little luck there is hopefully also an assertion message with a bit more info on why the game crashed.

Thing is, I have just installed Aurora along with Edwin Romance (and others), and before I started to play I wanted to ask you if this bug also will happen if I have Infinity Animations installed?
Because I have infinity Animations installed. And I could of sworn I saw it (at install) say something like "patching _LOW animations" or something similar. It is also installed after both Aurora and Edwin Romance. does this mean that this bug will not happen to me? The reason I ask if because I did want to play Edwin Romance, and if this bug will happen to me also, then I will simply reinstall right now, before wasting time

I've downloaded the SoA romance and everything's been going great.... However, I've just been asked to visit the docks to meet Edwin's mentor but when I go there and talk to Barvon and he says "This is it. Good luck, Mister Wizard. Ye'r likely gonna need it..." and I click 'End Dialogue' the game freezes....
It's driving me nuts...
I've tried installing bg2 on another computer and downloading the mod then loading the saved game but the same thing happens over and over again...
Any help advice would be much appreciated
Oh and I don't have any other mods installed so it can't be a problem with that...

If it crashes, attach the Dekaras.CRE in your BGII's override folder here.
PS: There should be a baldur.err in your BGII folder so it might help if you attach it too

Tried CLUAConsole:CreateCreature('Dekaras') but it crashed..
Found the files you mentioned but i'll admit to being a forum novice - i'm not actually sure how to attach the files..

Tried to attach Baldur.err but it said "no file selected for upload" - figured out later it's 0 bytes..

Ok freaky thing... Your CRE didn't crash for me Which would mean it's not the CRE itself but something it's referencing... like an inventory item or a spell
So here's the CRE stripped of all items and spells IF this doesn't crash, CLUAConsole:CreateItem('') these one by one and try equipping them

EDWDAG01
BOLT03
BOLT04
If you notice anything kookie with any of them... report Thoroughly examine EDWXBOW01 and EDWDAG01 though, they're mod items

It would seem I have spoken to soon... The meeting in the docks goes fine, but when I try the next meeting in the bridge district it crashes again.. Not sure what qualifies as kookie - no one could equip LEAT24 and EDWXBO01 had no picture (it appeared as an empty box in my inventory)...

Hi, I'm a newbie with installation problems. *waves* Would you mind helping me out?
I get an error that says:
ERROR: Unable to find DIALOG.TLK in:
dialog.tlk
Please run this program in your Infinity Engine game directory.
FATAL ERROR: Failure("unable to find DIALOG.TLK")
I've got the digital GOG version of the game. The mods I have installed are G3 Fixpack, Ascension, Redemption and Xan for BG2 by kulyok.

Sorry, nevermind. I managed to fix it after an hour of googling and trying things repeatedly. Note to fellow newbies (or nice people explaining things to us): If you get this error, just change the place you extract to so the things are put in the big Baldur's Gate 2 folder, not in a folder of their own. Then run the setup from there. Ok, I think I'll go crawl under a rock now.

Hi, Sorry but I'm having an issue with installing the mod. It keeps saying:
