Hi all, I'm loving this mod so far (definitely the most fun I've had with a romance mod)! I've got a bit of an odd problem, though. I played through SoA with no trouble, but once I got to ToB and into the pocket plane Eddie started acting, well, bizarre. He looks like he's trying to initiate dialogue, but never does--and the animation keeps looping so that he's not just standing still like everyone else. He's also gliding instead of walking. The first LT doesn't trigger after going to Saradush and talking to Melissan either, and setting the EdwinRomance variable to 1 won't force it.

So far I've tried loading my final save from SoA and playing through the end again to see if it was just a one time thing, importing it into ToB, uninstalling and reinstalling both portions of the mod as well as a reinstall of the game, with no luck.

I've got the ToB patch and Edwin's the only mod I have installed at the moment (I had Kelsey installed when I first encountered the problem, but didn't put him back in when I reinstalled the game). I'm kind of at a loss as to what to try next and am eager to finish the mod, so any help is appreciated

Update: nevermind, I came across the advice for starting a new game in ToB and it's working for me! (thought I'd read the whole thread but apparently not ) So anyway, I'm enjoying Edwin once again!

First of all I adore this mode.
I have a problem though: after I met Dekkie in the docks; i was to meet him the day after that in the bridge district. but.... no dekkie. 
I don't know... maybe I can make him spawn by shadowkeeper? how?

Has it been 24 hours at least? If not, try resting in the Five Flagons, he should appear as you go outside.

didn't know where else to put this.. Well. Atleast I got the bug with the Nether Scroll, where his transformation to a woman gets stuck. There's a fix for it, and I had to download it, but wouldn't it be soooo handy and easy if the fix would be included with the romance mod? If you get the romance mod, you get Edwin, if you get Edwin, you get the Nether Scroll quest, which gets stuck at that point, so it would be nice if you could fix the thing right away with the same download and installation.

I'm not sure why this problem still occurs - I have asked Nebukad to have a look at it.

Could you check the global DekkieLetter? If it's 4, then Dekaras has already appeared, but for some reason hasn't managed to talk to you. Then you could make him appear by setting it to 3. If it isn't 4, could you please tell me what it is?

You should be able to do this with Shadow Keeper, but if necessary, I can provide you the CLUA console commands.

Edit: Furthermore, check that the main character isn't invisible. This seems to be the only way I manage to get Dekaras not to appear.

Not really a bug, but I believe it is an error, which I also posted in another thread.

Whenever I try to download Edwin ToB from any of the mirrors, it doesn't contain the alternate Viconia ending, and the ReadMe says it's the first alpha version. The .rar file says it's version 1.0.3...

What is up with that?

Hm, that's weird - I can only conclude that an older version must have been uploaded to the mirrors. I will see what can be done about it.

Hello. Please forgive my poor English...

I installed the SOA portion in French and started a new game. Edwin is now giving me the hair talisman for the third time. Is our story bugged ? Should I reinstall the mod again ?

The mods I have are Edwin romance (SOA only), Ascension and the Longest Road. And of course BGII is well patched.

What is wrong ? How many presents should I receive ? Why Dekaras is not showing up ?

I've spoken with Nebukad about this problem. According to him, the most likely reason for your problem is that Edwin is trying to interact with you, but you are either not in an area where Terl can appear to deliver his letter, or in a chapter where he can't appear. This should hopefully be fixed for the next version of the mod. I'm not sure what can be done to sort out your problem at the moment, unfortunately.

Okay, when I try to bring back Edwin after being infected with vampirism, he just asks me the usual dialogue if I were to have kicked him out. ("So, you want me back, do you?") I've played this before, so I know this is a bug. All I have installed is Edwin SoA and ToB and the ToB patch, the first and last of which I have reinstalled twice and nothing's worked.

It sounds like a bug, yes. Do you have a savegame you could send me from just before you try to resurrect Edwin?
