When arriving at the Umar Hills, the first cutscene (CBMAYOR1.BCS) starts normally, but, when it finishes, the second one (CBMAYOR2.BCS) should start. Instead of it, I get a CTD. I've checked my .bcs, but don't know what's causing the problem.
Could some1 post the file here, to check if mine is corrupt or if something the .bcs calls is cuasing the crach?
Thx.

OK, checked somethings and found out that the area AR4299 (where the CBMAYOR2.BCS cutscene plays) is broken. I tried to CLUA myself there and the game CTD. Soooo, what I need is the BP-BGT-NEJ AR4299.are file. I think the BP one would suffice, cos I doubt BGT nor NEJ modifies it, but who knows.....
Any1 there? Thx.

see now: uploading scripts is easy - they're usually small and compressable if they're not. uploading full area files, on the other hand is not easy. here's my copy of CBMAYOR2.BCS - give it a whirl and see what happens. hoepfully it'll all work smoothly.

Thx, but it didn't work. I'm pretty sure it's the AR4299.are file which is screwing things up. I've checked my version and it's only 32 kB size, so it shouldn't be a prob to post it here. Plzzzzz.
Thx in advance.

well, if you think it'll work: i always get worried when basic components like .are files get corrupted - it usually indicates far bigger problems. ayway, here is AR4299.are and ar4300.wed (yep, the wed and are names are different...) iin one convenient zip file.

I think I have the same problem - I would have solved it but the file formerly posted on this thread no longer seems to be here - any chance of replacing it?

Thanks

Bump!

Has anyone got the AR4299.are file? Please! I'm running out of other quests I can do to fill in the time!

i would, but i can't upload .are, .rar or .zip files to this forum, and my site is currently suspended cos it's exceeded its bandwidth allocation. in a few hours time, you should be able to find it here.

[EDIT] file now available.
