I tried using search, but it said that the word can't be under 4 letters or something like that. I'm currently making an NPC kit for a mod and that is unnessecary information, but when i try installing the kit, it say that there is a problem on line 30 columns 1-3. I'm not going to bother posting the tp2 file because everything else is fine. Just so no one has to hurt themselves trying to remember what that is, it's the first SAY in:

SAY ~xxxxx~
SAY ~xxxxx~
SAY ~XXXXXX: YYYYYYYYYYYYYY~

the kit is private, and i don't have permission to discuss anything about it, so you're getting x's and y's for everything.

Columns 1-3 are

SAY

and that's it. This should not have any problems. I'm actually quite surprised that this worked since i included all of the weapon restrictions from every kit in this tp2. I'm not sure if that worked out right though. Does anyone know what i could have done wrong? Seriously, there should be absolutely no problem with this.

Usually errors like that indicate that you're missing a tilde in the line ABOVE the line given as an error. Check it.

I just checked, and the tildes are all there

where should i start from? should i transfer the whole file to this computer? my floppy drive isn't working on that one, and i don't have a writing drive, so i want to transfer as little as possible. yeah, i do everything half-assed.

Nevermind, i was in the process of transfering the whole tp2 file by hand, when i noticed that i forgot the HLAs. i got the kit successfully installed now. Thanks anyways, wouldn't have gotten it up here if someone weren't being prompt about their answers. :thumb:
