1. If you have not already done so, install BG II ? SoA and ToB (Full Installs). Apply patch version 26498. Also install BG 1 and Tales of the Sword Coast (Custom Installs: Select all checkboxes). Apply patch version 5512. Cut and paste your entire BG 1 game folder into the C:\ directory, and rename it ?baldur?. The entire BG 1 path should then read C:\baldur. This is for when we install BGT later. After the installation is done you can move the folder back and rename it appropriately.
Make sure you run ToB at least once before installing BP-BGT-NEJ, so you are able to set up your game configuration properly.
2. This guide assumes you have all the appropriate files downloaded before beginning. If you have not downloaded them yet, download them to your main game folder (for example, the default is C:\Program Files\Black Isle\BG II ? SoA). These files include:
1 Shadows Over Soubar 1.0.0 and its patch version 1.0.1
2 The Darkest Day 1.03 and its patch version 1.0.3a
3 Tortured Souls 5.0.1 (same as v50), 5.0.3, 5.04, and 5.05.
4 Big Picture version 161G-Full
5 BG Trilogy Mark 3, patch 1.13 fixes (MK1-MK3_1.13-fixes), its lost files, and a patch for a setting snares bug
6 BP-BGT version 0.311 full
7 Never Ending Jouney WeiDU version1.13h
8 BP-NEJ version 1.2
If you already have some or all of these files, move them into your main game folder. Assuming you have downloaded all the correct files, you should have no problem with the following steps.
3. Put ALL the following files in the root directory of your BG2 folder.

-- TSv503.exe
-- TSv504.zip
-- TSv505.zip
-- BPv161G-FULL.exe

-- NEJ-Weidu-v13i.rar
-- BP-NeJv12.rar
-- lost_files.zip
-- patch_snares.zip
-- MK1-MK3_1.13-fixes.rar
-- BP-BGT-NeJv311.exe*
*(the bp-bgtv310FULL.rar file will extract this for you, in step 6--just make sure it's here)
4. Run the BGT Mark 3 Installer. Extract it to your main BG2 directory.
IMPORTANT: I don't have the Mk_3_112 installer "as is"--I saved an extracted version on 2 cd's.
I THINK the folder it extracts to is named "bgt3". The installer is set up to reflect this.
If BGT is extracted to a folder named anything else, rename this folder to "bgt3".
And if this is the case, somebody please let me know; I can make a new installer in a matter of minutes.
5. By right-clicking the file and hitting ?Extract to FOLDER?, where FOLDER is the name of the zip file, extract:

-- lost_files.zip
-- patch_snares.zip
6. By right-clicking the file and hitting ?Extract Here?, extract:
-- BP-BGTv311FULL.rar
-- NEJ-Weidu-v13i.rar
-- BP-NeJv12.rar
-- MK1-MK3_1.13-fixes.rar
7. Run BP-BGT-NeJv310.exe.
8. When the SoS and TDD installers asks you to choose components, take ONLY Website Shortcut and Base Game (these should already be selected), and click the Baldurdash Fixes component at the bottom.
9. When TSv50 (Tortured Souls) installation begins, choose the directory ?PATH\TS-Install? where PATH is your main game path
(C:\Program Files\Black Isle\BG II ? SoA is default). Do the same for the TSv503 installation.
Any directions for copying and pasting or running BAT files should be IGNORED. I?m having the BP File Handler do all that work for you. Everything should work fine as long as you?ve set up the files and directories as above.
10. When BGT asks you for a BG1 directory, type C:\Baldur and hit CTRL+Z as the directions say.
11. Have fun and hope this works right! You should have a nice, neat, empty override folder now.
Maybe a coupspellholdstudios.netspellholdstudios.netspellholdstudios.netspellholdstudios.netle of "junk files" remain. Delete these at your leisure.
12. When it's all done, you'll need to:
a) configure the game, or at least start a game once quickly.
B) open your baldur.ini file
(the same file you add DebugMode=1 and Cheats=1 for the CLUA console)
Under [GAME OPTIONS]:
Enter the folowing line:
Force Dialog Pause=1
This will save you a lot of grief in the bg1 part of the game!
13. At this point, you should delete your weidu.log file and clean out (delete) the CONTENTS
of your {BP-BGT, NeJ, and BP-BGT} \ Backup folders---EXCEPT the keep.me files.
Remember, all that data is up inside of biff folders now. This will insure that future patches
to any/all of these mods install just fine.
13a: At THIS time, run the Setup-BP-BGT-NEJ_PATCH313.exe (weidu).
14. You may also add the BP-approved Ease of Use components, and Item Upgrade..
