Throughout several threads Hishi and I were talking about a Tiax-based Mod.
You would somehow free Tiax from his cell (and keeping him alive during the fight with Jon Irenicus), and if the PC is female you can start a "romance" with him, where you help him throughout his plans to rule the world.

Of course Tiax wouldn't rule the entire world, but perhaps he could rule a pocket plane of his own. Maybe that will satify him enough, at least if he doesn't notice.

Somehow I have trouble envisioning Tiax as a standard "loving" romance character, so the LoveTalks would have to be...well...in-character and quite different from the original styles used.
Perhaps:

(Pleasure) Slave --> Servant --> Respected Servant --> Advisor --> Near-equal

I think it is pretty do-able, and a welcome change from the usual romances. What do you think?

He is a servant of Cyric and an insane one at that, so I guess it's do-able if you're willing too be very very evul (personally I hate Tiax. but that's not the point )

Also how would you get him to serve you in your party, in BG1 they didn't really expand on characters personalities so it wasn't a problem. In BGII however he is extremely arogant, unless he wants revenge on Irenicus so there is a mutual feeling between charname and Tiax to carry on.

I wonder why Cyric would care about Tiax. On the contrary, I think Cyric would feel uncomfortable with him. Having a follower who says "I rule all, I'm the mightiest" it's quite annoying for a god and it could be considered offending by Cyric.

Wasn't Tiax's rap that Cyric will call upon him to ascend to his side, while Cyric goes on to rule the multiverse?

Also, Cyric loves chaos and deciet. Could Tiax's ravings be a brilliant ploy to allow others to underestimate him?

Okay, I admit it's a bit rough, but I wrote it on the spot here.

And perhaps it would an idea if he teleported you into his realm, you stayed however long, then you were teleported back at the exact time and moment you left. Sound do-able?

It could be something like the ToB pocket plane. Tiax would get a special ability to teleport the party to his realm, and you could

• Use the skill again to reverse the effect and return to your previous location (?)
  
• Create an exit in the pocket plane which returns you to your previous location (?)
  
• Create an exit in the pocket plane which returns you to a fixed location. (?)

I have no idea if any of those options are do-able, though.
