Speaking of modding, I listened to IER 3 yesterday, so you can have another quote for your signature: how come you sound so damn cool, as well as look it? It's unfair. Seriously.

I think I'll aim for one Avariel pic first, so a chiffon or silk toga-type arrangement and photorealistic wings if I can. White fabric, or tinted blue like her jewellery. Even hints of pastel yellow, blue and green reflecting strangely.
I don't know if anyone's made a paper-doll for wings, but this will be just a project to learn stuff from, not for playing so much.
The other will be more like Xena (which is what I meant by the corset), only AJ will be garbed in black, or a purpley leather, and will hopefully finish up suiting either evil, or good, or characters in between.
Does anyone have any ideas what I should do to the background? I can try real or generated sky etc... Lightning looks cool... Symbols? Temple background? Library?
Minus the katanas, plus toga, and she could be a cleric of Lathander, God of Self-Perfection (amongst other things). Has anyone noticed the implied wings in the original? (They're actually easier to see in the 'finished' narrow portrait).

It seemed to start like a nice little tutorial throught the creative process and bascially went off from there...Sorry, but is there any good reason for this thread to be stickied here? While I have no problems at all with Miss Jolie, I fail to see the importance of this discussion...
Maybe we can do some more with the Angelina pic? Put her in armor, maybe?
