I heard a rumor that there was made (or being made) a mod that rendered Imoen non-resurrect-able when killed. Was that mod ever made? Or is it being made? If so, what's it called, and where can I get it? Thanks.

never heard of a mod like that, but one time i killed her while i was in slayer mode and all i had was a chunk of her that followed me arround everywhere.

It was only a mod idea afaik... but hell, id love to play it if someone made it!!! That, along with the "101 reasons to go to spellhold" mod. Uhm... maybe all this in 1 mod... omg, awesome!

I made it, but it didn't work very well and I couldn't be bothered to fix it. I posted the code on the old FWP forum.

Is there a chance to fix it? Is there also a chance to add the "101 ways to get to Spellhold" as Bob suggested? Will you lend the code to me and allow me to find a coder that can be bothered to fix what needs fixing and add the Spellhold thing? :D

I had the Imoen chunk problem too... plus, I always end up accidentally killing Immy, on the wall-squish trap... -_-

I never understood the wall squish trap, some people could walk through it, while others would be squashed. When you get squished do you die immediately, i forgot, i haven't been there in a while.

would makes sense, but underpowers immy a little. maybe if she got faster/more powerful bhaalspawn powers to ballance it.

why would you want to play a mod like this?

i would understand if there were extra powers for this, like fallend demon said, but if there weren't, than you are just losing an NPC

Refinements also considered resurrecting this project and finalizing the Imoen Chunks component (see the Refinements TODO in the forum), but I'm not sure if it ever gets implemented.

Sim, was this mod made on the basis that Imoen was supposed to die in the original story? Somewhere in the Unfinished Business forum mentioned that this was one of "the most surprising" things to come out of the background research for UB. Also explains Nalia of course.

nah man it was based on the fact Bhaalspawn arent supposed to be resurrected...
Crayons are the most chaotic bananas there never will be....

she has less essence and more soul which is not wound up in the essence

her essance is part of her soul, otherwise they wouldn't be bhaalspawn, it could only be fully seperated at Ao's intervention.

Effectively makes npc unressurrectable if added to their BCS (in this case it was in Irenicus's bcs)

Die() checks if the cre has died in the last round. Remarkably it can still perform actions until the game registers that it is Dead("...")
