STR- I'm fairly strong, for no good reason at all (see CON).
DEX- Nothin' special. Clumsy sometimes.
CON- I rarely do manual labor, I smoke like a train, I don't drink enough water and I drink far too much.. erm... Coke.
INT- I'm no genius, but I'm going to college for free 'cause my grades earned me some pretty nice scholarships, and I'm good at figuring things out myself.
WIS- (also see CON) I often have the common sense of a telephone pole. At least I think about future consequences, etc... sometimes up to five minutes in the future! :bash:
CHA- I've never had a problem making friends; I like people, and I'm fairly adept at the art of persuasion. But I'm no leader. Nor am I a casanova.

If I try to be completely honest:

STR 2 (I can lift a dog weighing about 20 kgs, but I can't carry it for very long)

DEX 5 (I am always bumbing into things, like furniture etc. and I can't get the simplest of card tower to stay up, but I manage to draw something sometimes)

CON 3 (well for no good reason, but I am hardly an athleth, and I never excercise and I have never been good in any kind of sports, though I seldom do get seriously ill, either - and I do not smoke )

INT 12 (I am good at languages and everything else like that, I have read alot and have alot of knowledge on some detailed issues over many things)

WIS 14 (I am old enough to have good wisdom )

CHA 5 (I do have a couple of true friends - I think... and sometimes I even get people convinced that I am right )

Err, guys... We are talking about an average stat of 10 for your common person. What's with all these sub 10s? Are we trying to do reverse "cheating"?

To the poster with 2 strength... You realise that 3 is as low as you can go with a human, don't you? Stats are rolled on 3d6, minimum you can get is 3 without racial adjustments.

Strength 2: -3 to hit, -2 to damage, weight allowance 1lbs, max press 5lbs, open door 1, BB/LG 0%.

to translate.. 1lbs = 0.4545... kg. 5lbs = 2.272kg

Strength 10: no to hit, no to damage, weight allowance 40lbs, max press 115lbs, open door 6, BB/LG 2%

40lbs = 18kg, 115lbs = 52.27kg

A 20kg dog is not exactly the easiest thing to carry, it's a living being and will struggle, and you can't stick it across your shoulders or otherwise more evenly distribute its weight. You could probably put your strength around the 6 mark if it makes you feel better.

My real life stats, being honest and taking into account that 10 is average...

Str: 8 - I'm not as strong as I could be, below average.
Dex: 12 - I can hit a fairly small target with a small thrown object, am not overly klutzy
Con: 10 - Average
Int: 13-14 - my IQ is somewhere between 130 and 140.
Wis: 12 - people have called me wise, but I have a quick temper which partially counters that.
Cha: 14 - people just seem to like me, and want to confide in me - don't know why that is.

Concidering the last time I took the what DnD class are you test and came out as a NG Elven Bard-Mage of Mystra, I think that fits.

Felstrom, it's not all doom and gloom! Doesn't one of the BG2 monsters disease you in a way that lowers you STR and CON? Surely if you can get them below zero they'll loop round to 25! Then you could be:

Here's a rough evaluation of your stats by what you said:
Strength: 18/80 (can lift 150 kg, can carry around 80 kg around for quite a while)
Dexteritry: 3 (slow reaction, low coordination, plus the inability to dodge incoming blows)
Constitution: 9
Intelligence: 12
Wisdom: 10
Charisma: 11

Briannandoah

Strength: 6 (by what you said; if you had strength two you'd only be able to lift glorious 2 kg, and you would be able to carry 453 grams around with you )
Charisma: at least 8 if you have a whole "couple" of true friends. 8 is the first value where any first reaction toward you will rather be neutral than hostile. :thumb:

Hmmm lots of people with insane stats here, a Strength of 18 should be like the worlds top atlets or something, and perhaps not even them. same with pretty much else. a DEX of 13 should make you fast enough to actually react before anyone else and do things like snap flies and such. heck iirc dex 13 is the required to snapp peoples necks in Planescape Torment.

tempted to pull another Jester here, he got the dark of it. thought i go by 3rd ed standard of 10 instead of 9

but ill try another aproach then.

i work alot with hands and can do such heroic feats such as screwing screws into hard wood with screwdrivers by hand! (oohh.. ahh....) im not very quick or agile, but i can manage. I can take a bit of beating, inteligent enough i guess ? i can use a computer! wow. Tend to notice things around me quicker than most others, and can usually feel the "mood" around me. and of corse the legendary Cha, i used to be 9 or even 8 back few years back, but learned how to deal with people (aka suck upp )
