Okay,
First download latest WeiDU version and rename it as Kelsey or Setup-Tashia/Kelsey.exe.
Second Install ToB and download NearInfinity (you need Java runtime enviroment to run it -v.1.40 or some such. Go to Java website and download it).
Third export SongList.2da using NearInfinity.
Fourth rename SongList extension to txt and open it.
Fifth add this line at the bottom of songlist:
84 J#Blank J#Blank.mus -practically manual patching.-
Sixth rename it as SongList.2da and ALWAYS keep a copy of it.
Install Kelsey. Place a copy of your manually modified SongList.2da into override folder.
Seventh Install Tashia. Place a copy of your manually modified SongList.2da into override folder (again!).
Ninth Enjoy!
This is not fully tested yet but initially it works! So beware!.

Yup, just like I thought, the problem is in the music file. Alternatively you can just edit Tashia.TP2 file, and on the bottom of it remove the line that adds to the Songlist.2da file. That should also fix the installation, I'd guess.

Yes! That is exactly what I did with Kelsey. Then it wasn't necessary to repeat it with Tashia as well, since I checked and saw that Tashia adds same command line. I just put my songlist into override folder. And more information could be obtained by reading my post and Jason's reply at Kelsey forum.
Maybe this error won't repeat with TDD's fixed keyfile Arian.

I have enough :-(

I followed all of you instructions, but it does nothing. Tashia does NOT run with TDD :-( That's unfortunate, cause I think I would like her very much.

If there is anything you know, what else I can try with her, please tell me an write to my E-Mail.

Thank you :-(

From what you posted it looks like Arian is using an COPY_EXISTING statement and the TDD guys must of put some of the original SOA/TOB resources into their own custom bif. When you make biff's with WinBiff it doesn't seem to save the chitin.key correctly and WeiDU has a problem extracting files from custom biffs.

I'm not exactly sure if this was fixed with the new versions of WeiDU. Maybe Arian can tell you what version of WeiDU is currently in the Tashia setup files.

You would need to replace Setup-Tashia.exe with the latest version of WeiDU.exe. http://www.cs.berkel...u/~weimer/bgate (although the site may be down at the moment.)

Just extract weidu.exe and rename it setup-tashia.exe. That should solve that problem. The rest are being caused by TDD.

Japh: the problem isn't pulling from _custom_ biffs, it was pulling from _extremely large_ biffs. That's been corrected. Whatever they did to .key, though, I don't know.
