DISASTER!!!!

Or, to put it another way: YET ANOTHER EXAMPLE OF HOW *MY* LIFE WORKS!!!!

I had computer probs and took my machine in to have it fixed.

It's fixed alright... and EVERYTHING I had on it is GONE beyond retreival!!!!!

I have it on my home computer (at school atm). Minotaur sent it before the crash. No worries. :)

I'm back. Most of the way...

I want to thank SConrad and Kai for the backups!!! (Kai I JUST sent you an e-mail!)

Now I just gotta get me a new text editor and Infinity Sound Converter and I am back in business.

I will be in touch, I just gotta stop these 00000000000 from flashing across my DOS when I start up. :)

Taur, I have all the audio in .ogg format already, and if you want I can stick an .ogg decoder in the .rar file when I send it to you.....

Me Got Some-ting to say! :P

For the last few weeks I have been struggling with computer probs. Got it fixed, got my stuff back from SConrad (THANK YOU!) ...promptly had to delete it again (Saved what I needed!) lost my hard drive AGAIN...Once, Twice, Thrice and now have gotten back to near normal.

Oh, and I THINK I still have my files this time. :)

I told you THAT to tell you THIS:

Yesterday Mrs. Minotaur gave birth to our own little add on! 4.8oz and while we wanted to name her October (after her namesake) the fact that she was a he seemed to indicate a different name should be thought up. (I DID strongely argue for SConrad or Kelsey as names but got overrulled...)

Anyhoo... October Mod is back on track but just wanted everyone to know what the delay was about!

SConrad/Kai,

My friends I will be in touch one way or the other soonest!

My (mostly nonworking as of yet) Messenger tells me that you tried to contact me whilst my computer was on last night. I just wanted you to know that *I* wasn't really there, just doing autotests. I don't wish you to think me rude. :)

I named him little Minsc Imoen and...

No, just kidding. I would never stoop so low.

He is named Joshua Curtis and, in another section of forum, I will be posting an announcment. (Mainly because my little Mod has a few bugs... the installation went okay but there seems to be data...leaks...every so often. It is difficult to control the volume of the avitar and frequently the whole system seems to shut down for extended periods.

In addition it affects my other installs... Wife1.0 is behaving sluggishly and Rest.24/7 no longer works at all.

On the Other hand, the software package is beautiful and there are no negative constitution issues. He is perfect for the game.

Wife sez I am modding WAY to much and I won't take up anymore Game related time here, but check out my new post soon. :) :thumb:

Yet another update (read: PLEA FOR HELP :D )

ALL Cre. work is done for October (Tobi) and others involved in quest.

All dialog, banter w/pc, banter w/NPC, quest and cutscene dialog... along with what I think is the first BG2 fart joke on record...(Korgan IS an ass!) completed.

Now...

Well, PLEASE see my other (Newest) post. I Still can't code worth a damn and I have found that except for Shed and (I think, as I cannot remember just What part of the world he is from) SConrad - ain't no one (At least no Company) in the whole of England that can will program or teach - I am... where exactly?

At at impass.

I have posted another thread here looking for a teacher or coder.
