Ok, so, like, after i buy the books i give it to one of my NPCs, she uses it and i get experience. A lot. But nothing else. She's still a sorceress, instead of a cleric sorcerer... ??

i experimented with sorc clerics a long time ago, simply using shadowkeeper...

i made a mage cleric, and memorized the cleric spells i wanted, rested, and turned into a pure sorceror...

when i click on the button for spells, i can now choose between cleric and mage spells...

however, while i can cast mage spells, i can't access them from the mage spell trigger/contingency/etc macro spells, and they casted at level ten, as if i was somehow casting a cleric spell scroll...

yes, the only way to really make it work right is to modify cleric spells into mage spells using near infinity...

wow...i had no idea this project existed...

ok, are people still limited to 5 spells per level for sorcs? how about extending that to 8???

(you don't want to go over 8, since this can cause spells to behave in strange and unpredictable ways...when using spell sequencer and chain contingency. you will find a sorc with more than 8 spells per level will not see some spells he/she has memorized when casting chain contingency, or see multiple copies of the same spell)

'Tis possible, but involves 2da-patching.

1) I went with all custom spells built using NI and/or IEEP. Seemed like the best way to avoid problems.

2) The Sorcs may end up knowing up to 14 spells per level, not from spell picks but from the automatically added Cleric spells. This has not caused any problems with sequencers in my beta tests; I'm not sure if this is because the spells are added diferently, or if I just haven't noticed. Please feel free to test it and report back. :)
