I start playing BG II about 2 or 3 years ago and I still play it today.
I have finished it a lot of times in a lot of different ways and I continue doing it because I love all the possibilities the game provide. It's just beautifull. For me it's the best RPG ever.
I know a lot of it's secrets and I never forgot the details and location of the items. ^^
I once played ToB but a friend of mine lost my cd's so I did never played it again and I never finished it. :/
PS: some may say that 2D is a passed thing but I say it's the best game style for these type of RPG.
How long will BG2 still be played

I think it'll be played A LOT, but not as much as it was played on years before, everything has an end, and people will get bored, get on with their lives, and new players wont bother in and old game such as BG2.

Well, Prince of Persia (the original one) is still being played (as far as I know), so I guess that BG series will be played for a long long time.It's quite amazing that BG2 is still alive after almost 4 year since its release, although a lot of new RPGs have appeared. So, when do you think BG2 will "die" ?
