I am releasing this as a mod for Baldur's Gate 2 but if you read below I plan to have releases for other IE games as well. Part of this is Miscellaneous released as this is my own coding and part of this is inspired by hlidskialf who created Clear Fog of War. I used similar triggers but made it work without adding area scripts which can clog area scripts with many mods adding blocks to those area scripts. We can also see that the vanilla game used Explore() scripts in some areas so the original Clear Fog of War was redundant in some areas.

Since hlidskialf's mod was apparently a mod resurrection, I saw no point in making a resurrection of a resurrection but this is what it is and anyone can call it what he or she wants.

Authors- Hoppy with credit to hlidskialf, author of the original Clear Fog of War.

Background: I had played my BGII -SoA games with hlid's Clear Fog of War many times but
it left some areas (coding restrictions?) left with the fog.

My version is based on the same principal but uses a different code and will work
for every area, modded or not, and whether the area has a script or not.

Technical: Only works with Party AI enabled but will work instantly if you have AI off and
turn it on for three or four seconds and then turn it off again if you don't want
the AI on.

Also this mod won't alter area scripts with another OnCreation() block like the
original CFOW.

Installation: Extract the UCFOW.RAR into the game directory and run the setup-UCFOW.

Version 1- Initial release and will work with BGII Shadows of Amn and subsequently,
Baldur's Gate Trilogy and their mods.


Future versions to include Baldur's Gate 1, Icewind Dale 1 and 2, Planescape: Torment (if not already done by Qwinn)
and the other Baldur's Gate conversion engine, Tutu.
