Hello. I'm currently starting on Big World Project Version 5.3 install and have the following question:
The pdf file asks for the TP2 file in several of the mods to be replaced by the TP2 given by the Big World Fixpack but the TP2 files in the Big World Fixpack are labeled as PATCH files. Should I rename the TP2 files from (for example):
setup-bg2fixpack.tp2.patch to setup-bg2fixpack.tp2? Or will the mods needing TP2 replacements just install as normal
is these TP2 patch files are put into the normal Black Isle/BG2/SOA folder?

Ahh, I think you need to start the Big World Fixpack.bat(just like an .exe) to make the thing do the work.

Thank you for the help. I should have specified in my earlier post that I was going to do a manual install of BWP 5.3
instead of using the .bat files. Previous versions of the BWP Fixpack had the TP2 files named exactly the same as the
files they were replacing in the install but now it's these PATCH files which I don't know what to do with. So until I know
what to do with these files I can try to the .bat files install or wait for the next BWP update.

But the bat file is not the auto installer. You can determine this by renaming the .bat to .txt and reading the file, it doesn't have any of that auto installer code:

Setup-bg2fixpack.exe --language 0 --force-install-list 0 1 3 100 101 102 103 104 106 107 108 109 110 111 112 113 114
setup-1pp.exe --language 0 --force-install-list 0
...

So, the .bat file has nothing to do with the auto installer, so you can use a manual installation.
