Dependent on which mods are installed the fixpack performs a lot of fixes:
1. The newest corrections not included yet in the mods
2. Bugfixing for no longer by the modders supported mods
3. Some modifications to get the mods to work together
4. Corrections to corrupted files
With this Fixpack we introduce a new technology: Now the fixpack doesn't replace existing files as before, but patches them. That has several advantages:
1. Now you can easily see what changes will be done to the original file.
2. It would be possible to make optional changes with an additional patch to the same mod.
3. No longer altered tp2-files will be shared out. Some modders make brillant modifications to existing files, but don't dare to share them, because they are afraid to get on the wrong side of a modder.
This way you don't touch the modder's file, but in a metaphorical sense you indicate the gamer how to change the files. All modifications will be done by the gamers themselves absolutely legal at home on their own computer. We only make available the needed tools. No need to worry about copyrights! That's the way how BGT works!
4. Some further changes would be possible by only change of single lines:
a. for example individual items in the item-mods could be leveled up or leveled down or be commented out to get a "best of item mods" solution within the megamod.
b. also the spwan area of some NPC could be moved, maybe out of the overpopulated Crooked Crane to another place.
