#28 Challenge:
The NPC of your Dreams
Deadline: Friday, 23rd February
Post your piece in this topic!

What a topic, huh! We all have visions of what kind of an NPC we'd need or want in our party, or just would like to see made. Now it's your turn to show us in visual arts what you would like to see made. Here's the catch: don't try to cheat by going "oh but this already existing character X is all I want!" ;) Nope, this time I don't want to see illustrations of something that has already been made. This time I want you to be on the edge of your seats and on the outer limits of your imagination - what if there were no limits and everything was possibe? What would be your dream-come-true NPC in Baldur's Gate like? Either by looks, dialogue, character, background... what ever. Illustrate this character to us - go nuts, have fun! :) Maybe we'll get some ideas for NPC mods at the same go!

You've got two weeks! Almost anything goes, as long as it's your own. You know the drill. ;)

Yeesh! You sure know how to make things difficult.

Anyway, I would still like to find a way to do that mod with the ancient drow necromancer from back here, because it would be quite different from all the other drow NPCs I have seen, and a character that old could offer an interesting viewpoint on the whole Bhaalspawn affair. (That, and I'm a fan of old guys who kick arse. xP)

But that pic shouldn't count for this challenge unless you didn't count him the last time on charges of being non-existent. ... Uh. I mean. Comparatively.

I've treated you people to "Love" and "Hate" most recently so it's time to crank up the challenge level here. :D

For an Imp, this is easy...

So, I'll take another mark of shame cause the original photo wasn't realy mine... :whistling:

Dream NPCs mean they can be illegal, right?
I just want some halflings. :(

The female would most preferably be a neutral/chaotic good cleric/thief, and the male a chaotic/true neutral bard. Both with some sort of very mild celtic accent...Nobody seems to like halflings and gnomes and such though. Or atleast, that's what the modding community tells me.

Upon second looks, gee, my scanner sucks. I'll probably go back and fix that...

I like halflings. And Dwarves. And even half-orcs can be quite interesting. Gnomes in DnD, I'm not to sure of. Mostly because no one can make up their minds on them. For this world they're pranksters, there they're technicians, here they're both? Neither? Little lawn ornaments?

Halflings and Dwarves tend to stay the same or close to it.

(PS: Halflings and Dwarves are probably the two best (core) races, for me.)

Got bored a bit and had to kill the terrible headache somehow...

Oh, kill me if you want. Doubt it will be worse than the headache I've got again.
Heck no, b - I used the word the way I use things like "twitter", and "iPod" - my first inclination is to ask "what birdcall are you studying?" and I think of "I pod, You (singular) pod, He pods, She pods, They pod, You (plural) pod, We pod..."

Let's face it, standard races have been overused. So yes, I want a dragon NPC. A dragon NPC with personality & power

Nice dragon, though. :D

I think she meant the Bard class. Bards and halflings don't mix in legal AD&D.

Also, very nice everyone.

Lennier NPC? Snape NPC? Skinner NPC? Someone who is both and neither? Oh! I know, I'll make one of these for Icewind Dale. Can't draw to save my life, but he'll be bald, with a hooked nose, in black robes, and, and... a FBI badge. Yes. That's right.

(But, yes, this already existing character X is all I want).
