"[You are] the foe of my foe, friend of my friend, by the first sapling that rose where Shilmista now stands, and by the shadow it will cast before all things will end, I swear to give my blood for you." - Kivan when we meet Imanel Silversword.

Wow, what was that. How did you manage to kill both beholders. My beholders just died, cos the green one farted and the orange one died on the spot.
I ended up killing them off with a wand of fireballs

Hehe nope, I would hope not. However, it definitely IS an SMM bug
That is definately NOT a Bonehill bug.
You will see those weird dialog text boxes or misplaced strings heads in just about every mega mod combo you try. They are usually nothing critical, I play most of the time hiding the GUI so I may not see a lot of them. It's when that Ninja To description ends up being an NPC romance dialog or something really screwy like that.
"If you think that a size of the mod indicates an amount of bugs that it introduces and their severity you're totally wrong...
Try not to use next time a load of shitty "super-mega-improving-tweaking-revising" small mods that you have installed and try to meet Wulfgar once again." - King Diamond
The Definitive Guide to Trolls
"Finding food and a place to sleep is your own business. I imagine Paul the Cat should have some fun with you, too" - Potencius in The Darkest Day
"You have been warned, little bastard!" -Khelben to a young <CHARNAME>in Check the Bodies
There are those who will snivel, and offer nothing in return except criticism, meanwhile never lifting a finger to do other than to cut other peoples labor down simply for the fact that they lack the capability to put anything of their own together. -erebusant

A Fireball Kills the smaller beholders, which cast cloudkill upon death and in turn kill the bigger one. The only problem is you don't get the experience.
Also, there is a similar text error in the castle with the hobgoblins that have swords instead of bows and arrows. Minor annoyance.
