#14 Challenge: Salvanas

Time to illustrate our dealings with Salvanas, our local slime ball coward! berelinde shot this idea in the Fanart Challenge Ideas thread - where would I be without that one... Thanks to her, you now have an excuse to show us the NPC's and PC telling him off. Or maybe some brave soul will make a "what if Salvanas actually got to bed with Edwina someone" scene!

Draw Salvanas how ever you wish - as long as the end product is your own! All sorts of styles and media are welcome, and I will not hear any of that "if only I could draw" talk. Just pick up the pencil and start doodling already!

Really? I thought she considered him only as another 'male', ah well Viconia is Viconia. It all has the same end where Salavanas is truely spineless even when he has a chance, slim as it is. (too egocentric therefore a perfect match for *ahem*... Edwinna)

WeeRLegion's picture is great though I always imagined him with a sleaky ugly haircut like that. And the open vest is a funny idea. Beware the pigeon breast of death

IronOx, your picture is great as always (remembers the beautiful Aerie picture ). I wonder though, isn't Salvanas supposed to be an elf?

Yes, I realize disco balls don't look remotely like that. I made it look weird to fit the rest of the picture. XD

Ok, I realize this picture isn't very well done. I did it in a style I am as of yet unused to, so I've not got all the nuances down . Hopefully it's not so earthshatteringly bad you feel an inescapable urge to douse your unfortunate cranium in Clorox.

Edit: Also, my scanner is possessed, and it didn't pick up well on the shading and whatnot properly. Ah well.

Ok, I'm better now that's outta my system.
I think that picture is right on the spot Noctalys, so much so that I've added it to my favorite pics of all time.

And considering the timeline they're in, that disco ball thing, surely could not be weird, it just happens to be missing the spikes of its cousins I think.

Oh, sweet fancy Moses, I can't even remember which version I showed you now. Hmm.. Well, I drew it out in pencil, threw a few oaths at the hand before it would cooperate, put in the minimalist background, gave him the Evil Feather (which is awesome) inked it, put in the zebra stripes, shaded it, put in the purple coloring, then shaded it again because it refused to show up when scanned.

Then I wondered how he went from "smarmy, yet terrifically spineless" Salvanas to 'I am going to dig your eyes out with a rusty spoon, replace them with Cadbury cream eggs, and then steal into your room during the night and viciously murder you whilst your children watch, all while wearing a devilish pimp suit and dancing on a stripper pole" Salvanas.

I could find no answer.
