has this happened to anyone else? i started a new game after modding tob. it skipped to the fight w/ the demogorgon, he died, then to the final fight, she died then the game ended? whats going on?

As Hlid says, it may be possible you have installed the BG2-GbG mod.

If you dont like the changes made to the game by GbG, you should easily be able to uninstall it - it's a weidu mod, so follow the usual weidu uninstallation procedure.
